Our Story

The Quaglia olive grove in Roccadaspide
Our story

It started as a family joke.

Olive you.

Say it out loud and it sounds like something else. That is the whole idea. We are a family that has fed people in the GTA for years, and every year the good oil came over from the same mill in the same town — never bought here, always carried, always given away before it was ever sold.

Eventually enough people asked where it came from that we stopped explaining and started importing it properly.

The mill

Frantoio Oleario Quaglia, Roccadaspide.

A town of six thousand people in the province of Salerno, in the hills behind the Cilento coast. The Quaglia family has been milling olives there since 1901.

1901

The year the mill opened. Four generations later it is still the same family and the same hills.

One

One harvest a year, in the second half of October. Hand-picked, milled the same day.

GTA

One limited allocation, delivered on Sundays, by us, across the Greater Toronto Area.

We did not make the oil. We just stopped keeping it to ourselves.

What we promise

Three things, and nothing we cannot prove.

We name the producer

Frantoio Oleario Quaglia is printed on the bottle. You can look them up. Most brands will not tell you who pressed it.

We do not oversell it

No invented awards, no certification we do not hold, no countdown timers. If we cannot document it, it is not on the page.

We deliver it ourselves

Sundays, across the GTA, in person. If something is wrong with a bottle, you are talking to the person who brought it.

Come and taste why we kept bringing it back.
